Mask Changing Act Singapore

Bian Lian, or mask shifting, is a popular traditional Chinese art form that originated as a component of Sichuan opera, one of China's earliest regional operas, which was popular in the Sichuan area. The abilities needed to make this concert successful are an elusive performing craft that only a select few have mastered. The performer's ability to switch their mask with a sweep of the arm and a twist of the head has long captivated audiences.
To study the amazing technique of mask switching, Rex travelled to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, China. Since developing the necessary skills, he has created a well-known and adored performance that has awed audiences in corporate, public, and private settings. Rex offers three different types of mask-changing performances: conventional, modern style, and mixed with costume-changing. All of the performances feature artistically painted and vividly coloured masks. To engage and motivate a larger audience, his brand-new mask-changing performance merges the ancient art form with well-known hit tunes. His mask and costume change act, which debuted on Mediacorp Channel 8's live variety show "The Sheng Siong Show," is the first of its kind in Singapore.
His performances will enthral audiences of all ages and ethnicities since they are full of drama, theatrics, and suspense.
