For more than 20 years, Brooke has been playing the violin. She started her education at the age of five and received her Bachelor of Music Performance degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2010.
As the Assistant Concertmaster of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra and Newfoundland Sinfonia for their 2010–2011 seasons, Brooke started playing in orchestras at the age of 15. Across 2011, she toured Canada with the burgeoning indie rock band Hey Rosetta, performing orchestral works in Canada, Russia, and Poland. She enjoys working with musicians of many genres and styles, and she has recorded with several acts, including Platinum Blonde.
Weddings
Since she was 18 years old, Brooke has performed at over 100 weddings, with a desire for making them unforgettable. Brooke takes great effort to ensure that her clients have a beautiful and stress-free experience on their wedding day since she loves being a part of it. В
Any occasion can benefit from the lovely ambience a solo violin can create. When requested, Brooke can play violin duets, violin/cello duets, or violin/guitar duets in addition to her solo violin performances at numerous weddings.
