Instrumental Cello Rock Duo combines the traditional cello sound with rock and hip-hop to bridge the classical music and modern music chasms.
The group was founded in 2011 by Valters and Antons, two highly accomplished academic musicians who were also childhood friends.
Language borders are no match for their modern, universal music, which is largely instrumental and addresses the greatest number of listeners possible worldwide.
The pair puts on a captivating, colourful, and lively performance on stage. In addition to original music, their repertoire also includes renditions of numerous well-known songs from the last three centuries, from Bach and Beethoven to Led Zeppelin and Abba.
They have collaborated with numerous orchestras and A-list performers, including Sonora Vaice, Terem Quartet, and Maizie Williams (Boney M). Due to the widespread success of their concerts, the band has performed in many cities across the United States, Russia, and other nations, including England, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Greece, Poland, Ukraine, Turkey, Lithuania, Estonia, and Kazakhstan.
