Sand Sculptor Daniel

Daniel is a sand sculptor who hails from the joyous Irish city of Dublin. Since graduating from the Dublin Institute of Technology's College of Marketing & Design where he studied sculpting, Daniel has spent the last ten years working on a wide range of projects both domestically and internationally. Here are just a few.
- 2005 Video piece created to go along with "Boil" performance at Estonian Music Days festival.
- 2004 Co-produced, directed, and edited the ice carving documentary "Cool Carvings."
- 1996–2002 Construction of sets and props for numerous music advertising and promotions
- From 1996 to 2002, I worked as a sculpture assistant for the Irish artist Patrick O'Reilly, helping him with fabrication and technical support.
- Lead sculptor for the Burren Interpretive Center in Kilfinora County, Clare, since 2001.
- From 1996 to 2000, I worked for the company "Paint Works" as a decorative painter for a large number of Irish and international bars, nightclubs, and restaurants.
Since graduating from college, Daniel has worked at events all around the world and received numerous honours and acclaim for his sand sculptures.
