This gangster swing band draws their influence from the 1930s to 1950s Golden Age of Hollywood, which included speakeasies and gin joints, all-night parties, smoke-filled jazz clubs, and illegal booze.
As the band serves up a heady cocktail of high-octane jump-jazz, hip-shaking swing, finger-poppin' rhythm and blues, all with a dash of Latin for good measure, audience members of all ages will be giving it their all on the dance floor during their energising performances filled with style and charisma. Old favourites by Louis Prima, Benny Goodman, Cab Calloway, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, and Ray Charles are included in their repertoire, along with rock and pop reinterpretations that are all performed in their distinctive hard-swinging manner.
These extremely talented musicians have performed at several locations and events all over the UK, ranging from burlesque nights in Piccadilly Circus in the centre of London's West End to high society balls in Knightsbridge and Kensington to variety shows in northern social clubs.
They have performed their own brand of well-loved musical high jinks everywhere from the Science Museum to the Savoy Hotel, and they are equally at ease playing shows to enormous festival crowds as they are in small cabaret rooms!
